Khel (2003)

A cricketer tries to become a film star, and as time will tell, Jadeja will be "yet another one of those." Sunny Deol and Sunil Shetty are reasonable and hammy as ever, Celina Jaitley looks nice and predictable, thereby fulfilling her apparent purpose in the film.

Storyline ~ Virendra Singh lives wealthy lifestyle in Bommbay, India, along with his wife, Shalini, and son, Vikram. When Gajendra's brother attempts to molest Shalini, Virendra's kills him and flees. He boards a bus which meets with an accident, leaving only two survivors - himself and a young heiress named Anju. He adopts her, looks after her estate and assumes a new name, Sardar Rajpal, and becomes wealthy over time. Years later Anju has grown up and finds out about her foster father's tragic story and decides to try and re-unite this family. She posts two advertisements in Bombay's newspapers, to hire an Estate Manager, as well as asking for the whereabouts of Shalini and Vikram...

Storyline ~ Orphaned at a very young age, Raju lives a poor lifestyle with his unmarried sister, Laxmi, in India. Both are of marriageable age. One day Raju meets an attractive fellow-collegian, Parul, and after a few encounters with another fellow-collegian, Bobby, both fall in love. But Parul's uncle, Jagpal, has already arranged her marriage with Police Inspector Suryadev Singh. When Suryadev finds out that Parul is refusing to marry him, he arrests Raju on a charge of murder, holds him in a cell, and beats him mercilessly. Laxmi, quite dramatically, takes a gun from a policeman, and helps Raju escape so as to prevent Parul from being forcibly married to Suryadev. They do manage to arrive in time, only to find out that Parul has consumed poison and killed herself. Raju is beside himself with rage, but is captured by the police, and watches helplessly as Parul is cremated. His horrors have not ended as Suryadev sexually assault's Laxmi and leaves her in an mentally unstable condition...

Storyline ~ Gangaram Verma has worked for the local municipality for several years, and is known in the community for being honest. Contractors' many attempts to bribe him have all been in vain. One of the contractor's, Prem Kumar, decides to teach Gangaram a lesson. He hires Gangaram's only son, Vijay, in his office, and subsequently gets him married to his only daughter, Sapna. The three then scheme to get Gangaram to trust them, and upon doing so, they get him to sign his property to them, leaving Gangaram and his wife, Laxmi, homeless. Vijay and Sapna bring up their son, Ravi, and tell him that his grandparents are dead. Years go by, then one day Ravi comes across a coolie who resembles his grandfather. He follows him home, and gets to hear the truth from his lips, and decides to treat his mom and dad the same way they treated his grandparents, with shocking results.

But when Reema meets and falls in love with Amit Verma, who lives with his taxi-driver dad, mom - Shanti, and sister - Munni, things change dramatically as Sudhirbhai uses his underworld contacts in order to pressurize Verma to get his son to forget Reema, and he does this by destroying his taxi by a bomb. Amit tells Payal, that Devraj is a gangster, but she doesn't care. Devraj gets killed, and Amit, with the help of beaten up Payal is able to convict Devraj of the murder, who is sentenced to death. But a wounded gangster tells a different story, and Devraj is set free. Outraged about Payal's betrayal he seeks revenge, but her story gives the whole affair a completely different touch, but the puzzle still doesn't fit completely, and soon Payal and Devraj are in bigger trouble than before when they find out who really killed her brother...

Storyline ~ Two small children, a boy named Guddu, and his sister named Guddiya are separated from their parents, and take shelter in a temple. On numerous occasions he comes to the assistance of a CBI Officer, Vijay Sharma, then meets and falls in love with his daughter, Kiran Sharma. Unfortunately, Vijay gets killed, and both Kiran and Shankar band together to look for his killers. The question is whether Shankar will be able to successfully avenge Vijay's death, and if at all he will be re-united with his sister, Guddiya. What Shankar does not know that his mother is in jail, convicted for killing his very own father, Masterji, while purportedly having an affair with a male from their village.

Storyline ~ Rajiv Babbar's 'Cheetah' is a excellent entertainer from the year 1994. I love this film, I've seen it years ago but I still remember loving it to the hilt. The film was a Super-Hit when it released, and ya it deserved to be. Good script, well directed, fantastic sound-track and classy performances.

Storyline ~ Appalled at the manner lawyers treat less affluent people, Vikram Saigal decides to do something for the poor, who have a legal cause of action, but are unable to afford a lawyer. He discusses this with his girlfriend, Rithika Sanyal, and together they come up with several ideas to raise money to create an organization to help the poor get legal aid at no or reasonable cost. When this plan fails, Vikram decides to rob a bank, but Rithika does not support him, and they split up. And then Rithika is killed and the police charge Vikram with her murder, relying on considerable evidence and witnesses that will go to show that Vikram did indeed commit this crime.

Will they get away with this idea?

Justice Saxena's wife, the two children and Rajesh Saxena leave the city. Dilawar Singh finds them and kills the Judge's wife and throws Babloo out of the running train. Before dying, Babloo donates his eyes to Karan. Karan vows that he will not remove his goggles till he confronts Dilawar Singh.
